Basically, the Nestle Toll house recipe but with an added twist
Ingredients
- 2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cake flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 sticks of salted butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 package of chocolate chips
Instructions
- Add butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract to mixing bowl
- Mix until all even
- Add in the eggs
- Mix until creamy and all chucks of butter are gone
- Add salt, 1 cup of all purpose flour, and the baking soda
- Mix until incorporated on a low setting
- Add 1 cup of all purpose flour
- Mix until incorporated on low setting
- Add the cake flour
- Mix until incorporated on low setting
- Add in chocolate chips
- Fold the dough until chocolate chips look evenly distributed
- Chill the dough in the fridge for an hour
- Preheat oven to 375 F
- Make 9 balls of dough per tray
- Bake cookies until golden brown (~11-13 minutes per tray)
