Basically, the Nestle Toll house recipe but with an added twist

Ingredients

  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cake flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 sticks of salted butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 package of chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Add butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract to mixing bowl
  2. Mix until all even
  3. Add in the eggs
  4. Mix until creamy and all chucks of butter are gone
  5. Add salt, 1 cup of all purpose flour, and the baking soda
  6. Mix until incorporated on a low setting
  7. Add 1 cup of all purpose flour
  8. Mix until incorporated on low setting
  9. Add the cake flour
  10. Mix until incorporated on low setting
  11. Add in chocolate chips
  12. Fold the dough until chocolate chips look evenly distributed
  13. Chill the dough in the fridge for an hour
  14. Preheat oven to 375 F
  15. Make 9 balls of dough per tray
  16. Bake cookies until golden brown (~11-13 minutes per tray)
